The base BarkBox (2 toys, 2 treat bags and a chew) costs $30 a month on a monthly plan, $27 a month on a 6-month plan and $24 a month on a 12-month plan. Bigger boxes cost more: the Obsessed tier is $39, $36 or $33 a month, and Super Obsessed is $45, $42 or $39 a month. A one-toy Lite box is $19.99 on the monthly plan.

Super Chewer costs $40 a month monthly, $35 a month on 6 months and $29 a month on 12 months for the base box. Its larger tiers run from $38 to $55 a month.

Longer plans are billed monthly. Paying the whole term up front saves 10%. Optional add-ons are an extra toy each month for $9 or a doubled box for $15. Subscription boxes ship free to the 48 contiguous states. Extra items you order between boxes ship free on orders of $35 or more.

The main new-subscriber offer is applied automatically when you pick a 6 or 12-month plan. On October 7, 2026 that was a free extra toy in every box for a year. Gift cards and promo codes go in the coupon box at the last step of checkout.

Read the plan terms before you choose a longer plan. BARK's terms say a 6 or 12-month plan is charged every month for the whole term, even if you cancel early. Plans also renew for the same length unless you cancel before the 1st of the month after the term ends. You can turn off auto-renewal in your account dashboard. BARK's FAQ says to contact its Happy Team if you want to skip a month. Your first box is billed at sign-up, and later boxes bill on the 1st of the month.

BarkBox suits people who like a monthly surprise and want to stop buying dog toys one at a time. It also suits households with chicken, turkey or beef allergies, since you can flag those at sign-up. Super Chewer is the better pick for dogs that destroy plush toys.

It is a poor fit if you want to choose exact items. It is also risky if you aren't sure you will keep it for months. The cheapest price needs a 12-month plan, and BARK's terms charge the rest of the term if you cancel early. If you only want to try it, the monthly plan costs $6 a month more but has no long commitment.
