BattlBox offers

BattlBox buying guide

What BattlBox costs

BattlBox has four monthly tiers: Basic at $39.99 (3–5 items), Advanced at $69.99 (4–6 items), Pro at $124.99 (5–7 items) and Pro Plus at $174.99 (6–8 items). Every tier is priced plus shipping and handling. BattlBox does not publish the shipping charge, so check it at checkout. If a refund is ever issued, the original shipping charge is not refunded.

Your first box is charged at sign-up. After that, BattlBox charges on the 15th of each month, and that charge pays for the box that ships between the 4th and 9th of the following month. If you upgrade a renewal that hasn't shipped yet, you pay the difference between tiers. BattlBox says each tier's average retail value over the last 12 months was $71, $127, $219 and $322. Those are the brand's own figures.

How to claim a BattlBox offer

Most BattlBox codes are welcome offers for new subscribers only. They work once per customer or account and apply to the first box only, not to renewals, upgrades or add-ons. Codes can't be combined unless a promotion says otherwise, and none of them work on BattlVault purchases. Some landing pages apply the code automatically when you pick a box. Others ask you to type it in at checkout.

The catch is the renewal date. A first-box discount is followed by a full-price charge on the 15th unless you cancel before then. Cancel on or after the 15th and that box still ships, and BattlBox does not refund it. With buy-one-get-one offers, the free box ships about a week after the first. Subscriptions ship only to the US and Canada.

When BattlBox runs its best deals

The usual BattlBox offer is a discount on your first box. Recent examples on BattlBox's own pages include buy one get one free (a second box of the same tier), 25% off your first Advanced, Pro or Pro Plus box, and a free upgrade to the next tier.

The deepest discounts come around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In 2025 BattlBox offered 50% off the first box, which made Pro Plus $87.49. Existing subscribers mostly save through BattlBucks reward points and the members-only BattlVault store, not through codes.

Is BattlBox worth it?

BattlBox suits people who enjoy surprise gear and want to build up camping, emergency or everyday-carry kit over time without picking each item themselves. Pro Plus is mainly for knife collectors, because it adds a knife to every box. Starting with a first-box offer and then deciding is a reasonable way to try it.

It is a poor fit if you want to choose your own items, already own most of the basics, or need to control cost exactly. You don't see contents before they ship, shipping is charged on top at an unpublished rate, and BattlBox gives no refunds for disliking a box. Canadian subscribers receive each month's box a month after US subscribers. If you sign up for one discounted box, cancel before the 15th or you'll be charged for another month.

About BattlBox offers

BattlBox is a monthly subscription box of outdoor, survival, camping and everyday-carry gear, run by Battlbox, LLC in Georgia since 2015. You pick one of four tiers. Each tier contains everything in the tiers below it, and the top tier, Pro Plus, adds a knife every month. Contents are a surprise. The tier photos show past items, not your box.

Savings mostly come from first-box offers. BattlBox runs welcome codes for new subscribers, such as buy-one-get-one-free, a percentage off or a free tier upgrade, and these apply to the first box only. Subscribers also get access to BattlVault, a members-only store with discounted gear and partner offers. The BattlBox offers listed here come from an affiliate feed and are re-checked against that feed daily.
